Project Engineer 2021 - current

Currently working as a Mechanical Design Engineer, Innovation Planner and Value Engineer Planner. In my current role, I am dedicated to enhancing and implementing work guidelines within the engineering department, overseeing the introduction of a PLM system (3D Experience), and managing the implementation process in collaboration with external partners. Additionally, I am instrumental in refining planning and budgeting for the Engineering Department.

I am the project engineer for the next generation Biological safety cabinet (managing the project from design, budget, suppler contact, etc.).

Global Factories

Mechanical Design Engineer 2017 - 2021

At Global Factories, I developed machines for medication repacking and checking. Besides the larger developments, I worked on smaller supporting machines for the main products.

In these projects, I collaborated within teams and independently, overseeing both the planning process and communication with external suppliers.

Design Engineer (R&D) 2013 - 2017

Developed products for coin sorting / coin payment machines, allong with smaller projects such as designing industrial touch screens, injection molding plastic and metalic products.

During my employment, I developed a next generation product - the ICS (Inteligent Coin System), which sorts and pays out coins in a compact form factor.

DQM China ltd.

Engineering Intern 2012, 2013

For my internship, I developed flexible foil lighting product utilizing patent NL2007980C2) and presented it at the HongKong Lighting fair 2012.

With my graduation project, I reduced material used and cost dramatically, as well as improved reliability of the material. I designed a lamp to showcase the potential of this product.

R&D Intern (R&D) 2009

Developed natural composite materials and designed a chair built from natural composite materials.
